Terms of Service

What you're buying

One memorial page for one pet, hosted by Forever Ours, for a single payment of $129. There is no subscription, renewal, or recurring charge of any kind. The page includes the photos, text, and memories you and your invited family add to it, in the style you choose. You can change the style at any time.

Forever, and what we mean by it

A portion of every purchase is set aside in a dedicated reserve whose only purpose is keeping pages online. We commit to hosting your page for as long as Forever Ours exists, and we have structured the reserve so that pages can remain online even if we stop selling new ones. If we are ever unable to continue, we will give you at least 12 months' notice and a complete export of your page, including all photos and text, at no cost.

Refunds

If you haven't published your page yet, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Once a page is published, or after 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. If something didn't work the way your preview showed, we'll make it right or refund you in full. Gifts declined by the recipient within 30 days are refunded in full to the buyer.

Gifts

When you give a page as a gift, you start it and the recipient finishes it. Once the recipient accepts, the page belongs to them: they control what appears on it, who can add to it, and whether it stays public. The buyer keeps the right to view it unless the recipient chooses otherwise.

Your content

Everything you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it so the page works, and nothing more. We never sell, license, or use your photos or stories for advertising or for training anything. You can download a complete copy of your page at any time, and you can take it offline or delete it whenever you choose.

Please only upload content you have the right to share. We may remove content that is unlawful, harmful, or that targets a person rather than remembering a pet.

Visitors and memories

Anyone with your page's link can visit it. Page owners decide whether visitors can leave memories, and can remove any memory at any time. Visitors who leave memories agree to these same terms.

Writing help

If you ask, we'll suggest words based on the facts you give us. Suggestions are a starting point. Nothing appears on your page unless you keep it, and you're responsible for what you publish.

The usual

We provide the service as is, and do our best to keep it running. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and we may update them; if we make a material change, we'll email you first. Continuing to use Forever Ours after a change means you accept it.
